STACIE JEAN ALBANO, originally from Long Island New York, came to Savannah in 1990 to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design. Graduating magna cum laude with B.F.A's in painting and Illustration. Starting a family and a career in landscape painting, she decided to remain in Savannah finding inspiration in the beautiful low country wetlands. Not limiting herself to the Savannah landscape, Long Island and the Blue Ridge Mountains are also frequent subject matters that she also paints. Primarily working in oils on canvas. Stacie Jean Albano has had numerous shows in Virginia, Washington DC, Eastern Long Island and Savannah, Georgia.
